In honor of World Environment Day, JW Mitchell High School Bands is committed to not just provide quality music to our community but is also taking the initiative June 5th and 6th to provide a tangible way to make a positive impact on the environment of our community.


We will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Collection event at the Publix parking lot at Chelsea Place in Trinity for the community to recycle in different ways.

June 5th 12:00 p.m. – 7 p.m.

June 6th 9:00a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Bring your old, unused or unwanted electronics which include but are not limited to:

  • cell phones
  • printers/copiers
  • computers
  • monitors
  • televisions
  • keyboards/mouse
  • gaming systems

Those recycling computers will also be provided with a certificate that the data has been destroyed as well.

Items with screens need to be disposed of in a certain manner so there is a cost of $20 to recycle TV’s or computer monitors.

We will also have paper shredding, cans and plastic bag recycling available.

Items not accepted at this event include lightbulbs, alkaline batteries, appliances or hazardous material.
